Our customers come to the circuit seven days a week, but our busiest days are normally Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The cleanliness of our toilets and showers is hugely important and is a factor in whether they return.
This part-time postion (15 hours per week) requires a person who is dedicated and works to high standards. It will include early morning and evening work, and it is essential for any applicant to be available for at least one day during weekends.

GROUNDS AND MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE
We are looking for someone with dedication, responsibility and pride in their work to take on this full time role. This is a permanent position subject to the successful completion of a three month probationary period. The basic working week is 40 hours but applicants must be flexible to work long hours throughout the bulk of the season which runs from March to December, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Working as part of a small team, you will assist in the day-to-day running of the track; maintenance and repair of grounds and facilities, and have a thorough understanding of the potential risks to
health, safety and welfare encountered in maintenance work.
Duties will include ride-on grass cutting, strimming and weed control; maintaining fences and kerbs; tyre wall building and repair; painting and general housekeeping of the site including litter picking, toilet cleaning and emptying bins. Track activity will involve assisting in setting up of the track forevents; vehicle and personnel recovery; dressing fuel and oil spills; removing cones, tyres and sweeping the track and garages at the end of day.
You will be required to use grounds maintenance equipment and power tools and undertake routine equipment and vehicle checks. For property maintenance and repairs you will need to possess basic plumbing, building and joinery skills. A driving licence is essential as is strong, demonstrable experience with all the tasks above.
In exchange we offer an interesting working environment, an hourly rate of £8.80 dependant on skills and experience, 28 days paid holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) and contributory pension scheme.

Are you interested in motorsport?
We are looking to increase our team of marshals to help keep safe the drivers and riders using the track. You have to be alert, not mind the cold and wet and be physically able to run with a fire extinguisher.
We will train you in flagging, using the radio, first aid, fire and spill management – and , you get the best seat in the house!
